About Us
Our Why
What we are all about starts with "why." As our own homestead has grown, we have developed a passion for learning about how to care for different living things. At the same time, we were looking for an outlet for our desire to give back to our community through caring and kindness. We will help with pet sitting, house sitting, and homestead care. We are also here to entertain unique requests where our knowledge and work ethic may be able to help in ways we haven't thought of. Our business is about serving the homesteads in this community to the best of our ability, and about loving our neighbors.

We primarily serve areas within 20 minutes of the town of Mukwonago, however, we are now taking customers to as far as Watertown with our added amazing staff!

We are the owners and we provide some services for our customers, direction for the business and explore opportunities to grow our services and outreach in the communities we serve . We also work full-time jobs of our own, so out of respect for our employer, we must ensure our work is done outside of normal business hours.

Operations Manager
Mady is the heartbeat of Harveys. She partners up with our caregivers on meet and greet visits to ensure a reliable backup and complete understanding of everything needed to keep your pet and home safe and happy. Mady runs our schedule and the day to day operations!

Sigh...what would we do without her. Mallory designed our logo, helped with our website, and has been at our side with urgency every time we've needed her brilliance, her skill and her support. We wouldn't be where we are today without Mallory!

Homestead Keepers / Home Organizing Services
Bethanie is not only one of our busiest pet sitters, but she also runs a partner business of Harveys Homestead Keepers called B Innovative Organization LLC. She can provide home organizing while you're away and she watching your pets or as a stand-alone service!
Homestead Keeper
Mari provides both homestead keeping visits or can provide in-home pet sitting and house sitting services. Mari resides in Watertown, but covers our entire service area. Her customers love her dedication and flexibility with their needs as well as their pets!
Taylor
Homestead Keeper
Taylor provides pet sitting service with experience with chickens in specializing in cats. Outgoing, easygoing and genuine, she's fabulous at what she does! She's also the resident cat whisperer!
Maile
Emma
Maile brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team with background not only with dogs and cats but also with horses. She is a passionate professional and specializes in providing check in services and stable care covering mainly our Lake Country customers.
Emma helps us out working out of East Troy and handling customers closer to East Troy and Mukwonago, however, she covers our entire service area. She's been pet sitting for many years and her experience and kindness makes her a fantastic and trustworthy caregiver.

FAQ and Business Practices
What animals do you have experience caring for?
Over the past 3 years, our homestead has grown to include chickens, bees, and dogs. Lindsay owned and operated a dog daycare and training company for 3 years and also grew up working in a vet clinic. We also have experience with cats, bees and some small reptiles. Our caregivers have experience with horses, goats, chickens and a variety of other pets. We are always willing to learn and gain experience in other areas, so please don't hesitate to try us out with your home or homestead!
Are you insured?
Yes! We carry general liability insurance, theft insurance and workers compensation insurance. Please ask to see a certificate of insurance if you need one!
Do your employees have background checks?
Yes! We perform annual background checks to all Harvey's employees and associates who enter our clients' homes.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash or check, but also a myriad of other forms of payment. Electronic payments currently accepted are Venmo, PayPal and Zelle.
What if I am not satisfied with Harvey's Homestead Keepers?
While we pride ourselves on quality work, and exceeding expectations with the finer caring details of how we operate, we know from time the stars just don't align. If your expectations are not met, let's talk. We are willing to offer a refund or extend an olive branch in whatever way we can.
